Two to one employees value open communications, employee recognition, and involvement of personnel in decision rather than a raise according to a new survey conducted by Vantage Research.
It’s good to hear people recognizing that the number-one business practice is still “open communication between management and employees.” Businesses need to pay attention and take note that you can buy talent, but retaining it is still different.
I’m not saying that getting a raise is a bad thing, but at the end of the day people ask you “How was your day?” not “How much did you make?”
